One other thing is that you have to worry about is symbol drawing in envoronments as well. You could just cut out mountain-like shapes with a select tool, but that has serious limitations, and you start running into problems the moment you're suppsed to decide where to put shadows.

now composition thats a tricky one since ive read countless books on that and it seems each one ahs its own version of it

locla value can't remain the same, if the contrast changes

10 Mar 04:08

Hobitt

--

makes sense

10 Mar 04:07

Amit Dutta

--

Basic rule: Contrast diminishes with distance....colour of objects gets shifted more towards the environment/light colour

10 Mar 04:06

Hobitt

yeah i guess the thing that confuses me does the local value of the objectsget closer to the value of the atmosphere or does the local value remains the same but only the contrast changes

always winged those but it gets to point where drawing the same kind of mountain over and over wont cut it

Hobitt

yes teh power of insertion and origin points

10 Mar 04:01

Amit Dutta

Any time spent figuring out what muscle goes where, is time well spent

10 Mar 04:01

Hobitt

--

since you actually have to understand the muscles in 3d kind of like ecorches
