--I'll upvote both Cardio for the release of endorphins (feel good hormones) and the meditation. Mind is a powerful thing
04 Feb 18:21
--I mean, in terms of the situation that is making you angry, and why it's making you angry. :)
04 Feb 18:12
--Mindfulness meditation is good for self-awareness, and the ability to understand the state of anger, and why it occurs. Sometimes, that's all you need to let it go.
04 Feb 17:28
--Definitely breathing and finding the stillness that lies underneath all emotions is what you should tap into. Main thing with anger though, is you have to identify whatever the root cause is that is instigating that anger and learn to accept it and deal with it properly. Everything else is just a temporary solution otherwise.

--Really hard cardio always works for me. Make yourself too tired to be angry
04 Feb 15:28
--Anyone know some technique for immediate release mechanism for temporary anger management? So far I've got deep breathing, go away alone somewhere, music. Only the deep breathing seem to do anything .
04 Feb 14:36
--Oh. Never heard of Upwork, LOL, this explains my confusion. I feel smart now. XD
04 Feb 10:20
--I dont believe that unless you somehow hook your art station up with paypal, i don't believe that at all
04 Feb 08:50
--I thought I saw someone say Artstation skims off the top if you set up the "contact me" thing, which didn't make sense to me 'cause I didn't see why anyone would bother with that when you could just put an email in there. But if it is Craigslist that makes more sense.
04 Feb 05:25
--I don't understand what's stopping you from just putting your email in the description of your artworks and letting prospective clients contact you themselves, why let Artstation skim off like that? LOL
04 Feb 02:44
--I just don't think 10% off your money is right for a site that is basically deviantarts forums with a better layout.
04 Feb 02:37
--The site also charges you money to make bids past the amount they give you. It's a cash grab with perks, but still a cash grab.
04 Feb 01:50
--you always have to account for taxes obviously... but the site does provide a service that makes it easier for job-seeking freelancers and freelancer-seeking clients to find each other, 10% doesn't sound too unreasonable for that. If you can find the jobs on your own and don't need them, even better. But if you can't... well, then 10% off is better than no job.
04 Feb 01:42
--Depending on where you live of course, which is why the site has a lot of lowballers
04 Feb 01:41
--Yea but then you have to take more money off for taxes, so almost 20-25% total from the money is gone when you're starting out
04 Feb 01:06
--There are some good projects on there, but the site taking 10% off is where the site loses it's fad for me
04 Feb 00:51
--I somewhat doubt that the pay is generally worth it for that kind of thing though?
03 Feb 23:58
--nice, I've never heard about upwork before. have you made some experiences with it so far? looks really nice
03 Feb 16:09
--There's a lot of commission work like that on those freelancing sites like upwork and co. I also see stuff like that on craigslist all the time
03 Feb 13:19
--Do those guys on artstation who paint just super pretty portraits from references get jobs?
03 Feb 11:27
--so its no coincidence that ranting about modern art is very popular in the concept art community, but only very few of the best artists out there actually follow the mob there... and those who do are maybe not the best idols anyway.
