--otoh some are just really into rendering and details; there are definitely jobs in the pipeline for them but it's unlikely to be concept design

--Like, you can make anything look good if you spend forty hours on it. But the reason you are spending forty hours on it is because you're going back and forth, correcting, and wasting time rendering dust to correct a faulty idea

--I'll correct what I meant - painting is easier if you know how to draw first. Techniques can be learned pretty quickly, considering they apply to draftsmanship.
