--Yeah, I'm itching for a beautiful big easel and canvas. It'll happen eventually. I really miss painting-- This is my gift. I actually prefer drawing though. I guess when you're good at something, you prefer doing what you're not-so-good at to get better? At least that's how it is for me.

--I think that was to do with using turps for thinning and cleaning brushes, there's a lot of substitutes for those now

--You guys are lucky to be working with paints. I'd imagine if I was, I'd be working in acrylics, though. Oil painting is tough to do without proper ventilation, innit? I dunno. I hear that's just a poorly spread rumour, but my wifey is very particular about these things.

--i used olive oil soap to clean my brushes last time worked just as well as generals brush claened

--General's brush cleaner does the trick. Some detergents leave residue on the brush.
