--But anywho.. I couldn't possibly put a finger on my favourite adventure game. So many awesome ones. But, I grew up with the Sierra ones. And Westwood's Kyrandia. Monkey Island came much later for me, actually, but I still loved it.

--There are engines for that. Adventure Game studio. It's pretty nifty. You can make your own art, and the animation sprites, and learn some scripting, with some music/sound, and bam, you've got a game. And if you finish it and make it awesome, you could probably sell it on Steam.

--Never played monkey island :D someone keot asking me to. I liked Grim Fandango and The Neverhood the best. Frickin puzzles racked my brain muscle.
