Unless you got a hold of some wicked cool vintage oil paints that miraculously haven't dried up, you should be fine. But to be on the safe side, work in a well ventilated room, especially the cleaning portion, the fumes from toxic free cleaner still gives me a headache.

if you're really worried, try using open acrylics instead, you can get a similar effect depending which medium you mix with it. But like, generally as long as you don't go around eating the paint/ licking your brushes, you should be fine

uh, modern oil paints shouldn't be toxic.. you might need to go slightly lower quality to avoid - because traditionally produced watercolours can have toxins - blues especially, but. I think you can get waterbased oil paints now too?

I first saw him in wilbur wants to kill himself and again in a royal affair. He's the dutch heartthrob.

On the subject of whether or not it's done right - I sat for a caricature once.. he drew me as a popstar in a mini skirt... he did not have the sight.

If it were an illustration, the obvious choice would be to draw him infront of a dinner table full of food, or in the desert, or in a spooky cavern

In my graduating class was one kid who had too much skin for his scalp. He could make his entie head of hair move without touching it. I think these were the things Punk was getting at.

Hell the actual sound of their voice is a feature in itself

Some people speak differently and we associate particular mouth shape with them. Raise of the eyebrow. Curve of the ear.

you recognize people by the micro facial ticks

Yep, my point exactly.

you know how when you see a picture of someone youve known a long time and theyre making a face you dont often see them making? It doesnt even look like them even though you know its them.

18 Sep 13:40

Adam Lina

yea theres that danial. I kinda always saw that as a cheap gimic to be honest. The hard part is finding the exact facial expression that shows that persons personality

I guess you could make the ring huge, to enforce the idea of marriage, but other than that who is she besides a woman getting married

18 Sep 13:38

DanialG

Another thing, besides finding features is finding the persons lifestyle or characteristics. With just a picture like that, you're not really gonna get much information out of it, and instead it's just gonna end up as an exaggerated portrait. With the course thing, since people don't actually know who we are, you put a little of your lifestyle in the piece. Your favorite movie, your career, your pet, favorite food, your daily rituals, etc.

How so? I'd like to think observing the different forms the human face appears as is more complex. Unless you're confusing me with Punk.

it just seemed to me like you were over simplifying caricaturing. I only wanted to see what you knew about it.

Eh. Discussion vs. Argument. Mockery vs. Offense. It's opening a whole different can of worms. Seriously no big.

Last I checked internet text still read structurally as any other written text. Some of us look at what's written and other project irrelevant motives onto the text.
