--of course it's difficult to judge where that point is, and I feel like some artists (myself included) have the opposite problem where they don't spend enough time thinking about individual pieces. So yeah, it's tricky.

--I read your posts though, so Imma try to answer here. The thing is that you have to repeat the process of making an image a lot of time to figure out how all the different aspects of it fit together. You really can't make up for that kind of trial and error process by working on a single piece way too long. At a certain point you not making any progress on a piece is simply the result of a lack of knowledge, and no amount of fidgeting around is going to change that.

--Yeah, with businesses they usually have a contract with a courier company to handle their shipping, which makes it cheaper for the business, which makes it cheaper for the customers. They SHOULD help you, it just means you might be paying a higher shipping rate.
