But hey, who am I to say anything, since I'm still learning. Just sharing my thoughts really.

Its alright to diversify your learning, nothing wrong with it, but be conscious if you're actually learning, or just spreading yourself out too much.

By the way book, saw you mentioning in regards to doing everything, all I can say is, try not to overload yourself doing too many things at the same time.

Yes, he's a representational artist, not concept/illustration per say.

Something which nags at me a bit is that he doesn't mention perspective.

The trick is to be focused enough to do the meditation itself, lol

I know exactly what you mean, man! I have ADHD, so when I was meditating every morning and/or evening, I found it really helped a lot.

Environment mentorship coming up, so that's how I'm planning to apply/supplement my perspective understanding-- But I may try to mix with permanoobs, I dunno yet. I'll just feel it and see what works best.

I think I'll try this permanoobs assignment stuff after I get a really good grasp on it. To be honest, I have a very, very crude understanding of perspective. I think it will really strengthen my work if I take it seriously, so...

Oh, cool. I'm going through videos at New Masters Academy... The only thing is that it's hours and hours and hours of video. Which is great, it means it'll be comprehensive, and this guy seems to know what he's talking about, and also be really enthusiastic about it. But, it looks like it'll take some time to nail it down. ;)

yeh im going to focus more on perspective too, going to work thu the permanoobs bootcamp http://forums.permanoobs.org/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=1452

I am, as usual, too scattered. I am being pulled in different directions. On the one hand, I want to start doing perspective. On the other, I want to finish my deathline.. So... I think.. I need to be strict with myself. I will start on perspective today and dedicate my time to that, and tomorrow I will work on my deathline.
