--I was largely against the so called 'correct seating position' advertised in classrooms. Any static seating position for any length of time is bad for your circulatory system. If semi-standing at a high desk and using a bar-stool helps you move a lot more when you draw - it works. I'm opposite - low and long desk. I'm on my feet all day at work so it's good to stick my legs out front or to the side, which takes the strain off the back too.
