--easiest way to build a thick skin is to agree. if they say it sucks thats impolite and not constructive but they usually are still right. don't fight it, just do better next time and don't get too attached to your work. also throwing away things you put effort in every now and then trains you to not value your stuff too highly. at least thats how i do it
