Never used it, do they have a FAQ? If they are taking a cut, and they do work with overseas peeps I would assume you still have to pay taxes

Olooriel

they apparently also consider each click on a music video about the same as a concert ticket where that song is played... so those get blocked as well, because youtube didn't agree to their pay demands

28 Aug 08:14

Olooriel

or even the person running the channel, I don't know

28 Aug 08:12

Olooriel

for the right to stream it here

28 Aug 08:11

Olooriel

it's considered a broadcast like a TV channel, so youtube would have to pay a lot I think?

Actually, I meant to mention with the kids book discussion, if you don't want to write yourself, go find something that's out of copyright and illustrate it. There are some good stories out there, and you can tweak and modernise if you want to. The biggest thing I'm learning at the moment, is if you want to be working in a particular area, do your own projects on it repeatedly until it becomes easy to do that kind of work, - you get practise on skills you need, and you overcome that fear/freeze

Ever heard that Johnny Cash song "Boy Named Sue"? Could be a CHOW brief

Will Terry is neat, I tend to listen to Lean into art and Comics are great more at the moment, the whole comics thing I've been doing has been brilliant for proving to myself I can do sequential art .. that's a big thing with kids books, maintaining your character through the whole book, which I found a struggle with the chicken book I did

and I set up a separate email account and paypal just for freelance work, I'm not seriously 'working' I'm not good enough as yet, but this job was watercolour and ink kids book, so I thought it was worth asking about as that is kind of my thing
