You know, all the artists on youtube etc keep saying "make regular posts to three or four platforms which have different audiences" - for example facebook is probably more friends and family, tumblr - interest groups, dA - fellow artists, I'm not actually 100% sure dA is a place to be found unless you are A/ posting /good/ work regularly, and B/ making use of their keyword search functions and replying to job offers.. I dunno, I'm totally not into advertising myself anyway
