--I don't have any experience with art jobs, but it's pretty normal with other freelance work. The trick is getting a few first jobs and measuring up to the clients expectations and there you go, word will get around one way or another, soon job offers will come rolling in more and more frequently and you got a career going.

--yeah i'm not still sure as well. but i think i'll go into illustration (mtg or similar things) first because concept art tends to be so competitive in terms of speed and efficiency. first i wanna learn how to make it good, then how to get fast. if i could get jobs where i'd do just lineart concepts for games etc., i'd love to do that but idk if thats still a thing
