--Yeah, everything has its place. I used to watch a lot of Sycras stuff when I was just starting out, and it really helped me back then, but now I just don't get a lot out of it anymore. If I'd stumbled upon them now I might have thought they were useless, but it's really just a matter of perspective.

--I think that with the bucket load of free tutorials from one source, even beginner+ can find neat little techniques and gems that they never encountered before. I found some neat perspective exercises on Anthony Jones' youtube channel-- Although, to be fair, I'm probably a beginner when it comes to perspective.

--I dunno. Most art tutorials out there are completely useless for people who know what they're doing, since they're aimed at beginners. Even if you take in everything their videos teach, you still won't be able to advance beyond a certain point. I would not call what they're doing rubbish though, and with people who take the time to make videos for free I think their goals are noble enough that even if their videos are utterly useless I still admire what they're trying to do.

--But I'm kind of curious, why his videos is rubbish? From my stand point of view, his stuffs are good, it may not be the best for some, but it still gives a lot of value. And it's free.
