--whats that? i tend to stay clear of links with the mention of "Trojan" :P

--I suppose you could make a thread in "seeking critique", just mention that it's a commission?
19 Aug 18:38
--Hello, I was wondering if it would be odd to ask for temporary guidance with a commission TT _ TT I'm so terrible with illustration

--but honestly, they sound like they could be bad dudes in an anime or cartoon

--*cough* the first one is R rated, the second.. Chopan for some reason - probably because I'm on a classical music while arting binge tbh

--Quick question, not art related when you guys read these 2 names what comes to mind: QuickieBiggy and Moshipan

--The old adage about "measure twice, cut once" well that could equate to "look twice, draw once". i.e slow down, do things with accuracy and focus and they will turn out better

--You're not only training yourself to draw, you're training yourself to see.

--it's holistic - get proportions right one place, it translates.. i guess that comes back to fundamentals, doesn't matter /how/ you learn them, as long as you do
19 Aug 07:57
--funny enough, I've noticed my life drawing skills are improving and as I haven't been working on them I can only put that down to time spent with figure drawing and proportions
19 Aug 07:56
--true, I struggle with proportions a lot, and figuring out /where/ I make the initial mistake is something I'm trying to work on at the moment
19 Aug 07:55
--also I think sometimes people try to solve the bigger problems instead of ... breaking them. if I do an arm too short, that's a problem. I have to work on it. But it's the arm too short or is the other too long? what's short, the forearm or the upper part of the arm? maybe I see it shorter because it's "wider", more.. bulky? things like that.

--I know wayyyyyy more about structural engineering and roading than I ever wanted to
