--It supports abr, but has it's own format. I haven't used manga studio. It does have built in smoothener and damper for strokes and can get good ink brushes.

--I use Krita for all my stuff, it definitely has things Ps can't do, though I do wish it had a color match filter and content aware selections and filter stuff. Nothing essential though, and I have a year worth of coffee paid from savings :)
