I would be interested in Figure and Portrait drawing myself, I have just recently gotten some experience with them. So the more practice the better! :) I am not familiar with Pinup Art, what is that?

Wow, this looks awesome. I'd actually be really interested in a mix of the 3 subjects you mentioned if that can be realistically covered. I'd love to improve every aspect of my figure drawing and portrait work from imagination. I have a fair knowledge of anatomy and head construction but need pushing to get great gesture that clearly communicates a certain verb or emotion to the viewer and have that maintained in a finished portrait or illustration/concept!

My sketchbook here is Lewis Long's Crimson Sketchbook
This may be easier for a quick view of my work though deviantArt
My current figure/portrait painting process can be found at my Livestream.

I'm really serious as I'm working on a portfolio and spending the next 6 months doing nothing but that! Hoping to be able to work in a video game studio but also freelance illustration later if possible. So you can bet I'll be dedicated to your classes, you have a lot to offer in what you are teaching here and so much more!

(All of the classes I've applied to are awesome. Massive learning for everyone. This is the future!)

Hey! I'de love to give this an attempt, would be awesome to have any of the 3 subjects you mentioned. I love pin up, and have a bunch of ideas in my head but no idea how to get them to really looks like legit pin up stuff.
My CD sketchbook which I keep up to date is located: here

The quickest way to my one and only published attempt at pin up is probably through the deviantArt route here

As you can see I would gain an incredible amount of benefit from all three of the suggested courses. Thankyou for taking time out of your life to do this ^_^

Hello Shyam!

My Name is Chris and I'd more than love to join your teachings.

Your work is extremely impressive. I've been studying art seriously for almost a year now, and I myself have many flaws that I cannot see as easily as others. Sometimes it takes that outside eye, that extra push, to get you on the right track. I'm desperate for that.

Please if you would, take a look at my artwork and consider taking me on as a student.

I'm excited to see what your classes will hold 048

WOW ! this is kind of unexpected :D thanks a lot for your interest and kind words everyone...now im really excited and i like the idea of combining 3 subjects and finally paint a pinup (actually thats how it should be) ! i hope everyone is agree with that.

please allow me some time to go through all of your artworks..seems like a tough job to choose just 3 as its hard to say no to anyone :/
i'll try to accept one more so i'll be working with 4 of you :)

I'd like to hear some options about class timing as we all are from different countries..im at singapore and not sure whats the convenient time for everyone.

Thanks,
Shyam

wow thanks man, Im definitely interested in the class I dont have much to say besides the fact that im dedicated to learning and improving my skill. Ive been studying on my own for a little bit and im pretty sure my eye is less sharp in terms of critiquing my own work, and it would be awesome to have someone of you caliber to mentor and critique me so I may improve. My schedule is completely open and Im ready to get started! Heres my work hope you like it sir!

Wow you're in Singapore! Man this couldn't be more perfect! I'm in Hong Kong right now so I think our times would suit nicely!

I'm available every evening after 7pm GMT+8 (11am GMT) but available all day Monday and Tuesday (again GMT+8).The fact that you are in Singapore has made me even more excited for this! Nice one!

I'm certainly in agreement with combining the 3 subjects ending in a pinup! So much fun to be had! Just for the record, I suck at sexy women of any body type and/or race so this is very much welcomed! It's always eluded me! Thanks for this Shyam!!

Thank you Shyam for being willing to share your expertise - I am quite interested! Just hope I'm not too late to the party. I have a background in classical animation, been working to learn to digital paint over the last year - wanting to move to a more painterly feeling to my work, have more subtle stylisation and more realistic lighting. Love character work, so this seems a good fit.

I'm in Canada, in Eastern Daylight Time (GMT-5) So I guess either late night or early morning as you'd be the exact opposite - I think :s

Hi eizOga !
nice work man..no, you are not late, i'm going to post 4 names on 14th oct.
about timing..i was thinking about 9.30pm or 10pm singapore time (Saturdays)
I think we can confirm the time once i post the selected names.

Hey everyone, I've made some changes in my first post about the class topic, please let me know if its ok.

i just saw John Silva's thread and made some changes in student selection criteria :)

Thanks.
