RE: Finnjamin's book - Baoto - 10-11-2013 I see environments are really your thing! The dark-red forest scene in #3 is my favorite, with the seasida study in #9 a close second. Both have good lighting and set a great mood. Your linearts are also rather clean, albeit a little stiff. Did you ever finish those? I think your work could profit from balancing the textures more. It's especially evident in the piece with the girl in the woods. She's the focus, but all the small branches at the top left and right pull away from her and also give a rather flat look, because they look a little 'pasted on'. I know that's all easier said than done, and I'm by no means a pro. I'm struggling with this all the time as well. I hope you keep it up und that I made sense (I'm rather bad at explaining myself).
