I joined the exercise during the week but I could only take the pictures today. By the way, the pictures are not so good. I'll try to take better ones next post '-'

I procrastinated on scanning them after work when I just want to pass out and sleep... So here's the past few day's compositions. By the second image I was questioning "What _is_ a composition???" But I'll try to hold off on running away into an artistic existential phase, and just patiently do some more of these until a composition class starts in August.

I want to be part of this group, hope you guys/gals don't mind if I post. I've been lurking around hear for a awile but never really post as u can tell from my sketchbook. I started reading the book mastering composition also and I think it's a great book for not knowing anything about composition. I'm doing still lifes but also adding a master study every day, I figure to copy from the best is a good thing, have to catch up....

I tried to focus on stuff like the negative space between the subjects, though I feel I have no idea what I am doing.

I think a good habit for you guys to do, is write what your main focus was with the composition, so in case you need tips, peoples could give out there critique whether or not they see the same thing etc.
