I thought I would pop by.
I'm Troy, I'm a freelance designer and illustrator and I work between LA and SF.

I'm having some academic and career issues that very well may relate to a lack of skill at this point. So without further ado, I'll start posting here as well to see if I can get real feedback rather than "I'm surprised you can't find a job".
Hopefully I can contribute to return the favor.

feel free to start posting and i think one of the things i spot from the get-go is - even though your work is good you might just need to sit down and put a lot more hours in some of the pieces to create a solid frontline / portfolio which you can use to advertise yourself and pitch for work.
