Whoo. Another WIP study. whooooooo. Yesterday was non-productive. Stayed up doing a process video for youtube, and I paid for it. My entire yesterday was just me trying to be productive, but my brain sucked that day. Caffine doesn't help me that much.

Ohhh no. Well here's a sketch I did for Friday's video. The idea was so much better in my head. I think I should of just started drawing the moment I had this idea, or wait awhile to see if I still liked it. Just waited a few hours and then started drawing it. Needless to say it's nothing like what I thought. Some day, some day I'll be able to draw. Bettterish.

I refined my last sketch a bit. Still fun, which is great. So much easier to push paintings that are fun to do.

smrr Yup. Gotta go through all crappy sketches that make you feel like crap to get to that one sketch that makes you feel good. Or I could just do drugs.

Not much really. Calling the color study done. I barely did anything on it. The horse sculpture is definitely not that color, but I didn't want to look at this anymore. No mas.

I can't colooor. So I decided to color my fairy sketch, but yeah it didn't work out. I wanted something to make her look dead. I tried overlay layers so that it would still show my values underneath. I guess my values were still bad, or whatever because it wasn't looking good. I liked the second image better, because I liked the hair bit. In the end this didn't work out for me. I even have the color and light by gurney book, and read it twice. I'll just read it again, and hope it makes sense.

So this site is inaccessable to me sometimes. Does this happen to anyone else? Like I just can't access it because of some error. Oh well. Here's my latest studies. Boring stuff.

Tried out 30 minute and 20 minute studies from colored photos, and a regular study. Tried a texture brush that looked more traditional, but that was a baaad idea. Looks like I drew with crayons, which is funny because the brush was suppose to be like a paint brush.

I've been doing studies of naked girls so might as well draw one. Super stiff. Got boring so stopped.

Well I keep doing studies and studies alone won't help, so I tried to do something I had an interest in. I tried to do fanart of a character from The Big O anime. Gave up on that. Just wasn't really liking it. As for the study I watched https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8kfK46nruKM (Anthony Jones' How to study video) and tried to break it down to a more digestable amount. So I just did a female torso instead of the entire body

Well conceptart.org is down and now all my img posts are blank. Fantastic. I'll just upload from now.

Fixed the broken links. I took some screenshots of of the webpage to show what it looked like. None of those images are mine. Apparently when conceptart.org went down so did my images that I linked and somehow it linked to someone else's images. Fantastic. :/
