Hey Cracked. awesome stuff here, thanks for putting in the time into writing this, you really have delved into the Science of motivation and what keeps humans going for that sweet sweet Golden pony(Metaphorically speaking)!
I have read all of it, but as a prolific reader as I am it would still require a bit of rereading to really understand all of the goodies you put forth for us in here.So Ill be trying my best into somewhat contributing to the discussion.
My background on these self motivational topics I only got from this one book: The willpower Instinct by Kelly McGonigal and have some Ideas here that i know already.
so I have a few questions:
-are you still using the cognitive restructuring method? Cos i find that its a good way in starting a day. Its sounds like a meditative practice.
-the what then? method; Im doing it lately it seems, subconsciously that is.
the more I fail on something the less I care about failing, is this the right thing to do?
-How often do you follow this? or have you been able to make a system of your own for practical use? if so can you share it with in detail?
-What more can you tell us about not having Internet for a month?
