Finishing stuff is always really hard, especially if you're not accustomed to doing it consistently. I also struggle with being happy with the work long enough to see it all the way through, or even just getting it done. You should definitely finish the rhino and crock. A series like that would be cool to see. :]

Oh yeah, that's my biggest problem, being happy with it until I get it finished.
I find that having a larger goal, like an IP project, helps. We'll see

Stuff I've dug up recently
Been doing a lot of jigsaw puzzles with my gf, hopefully I won't get addicted to that, but I think it's an amazing way to train your eye to recognize shapes and colors.
And I've also been working a lot on a LEGO Technic project, yeah I love that too, ever since I was a kid. It feeds my obsession with lines and shape design. Of course, I get the same issues with finishing stuff, I get some ideas, they work great, but then something else doesn't work and it gets frustrating. I have to push forward.
