Oh yeah, that's my biggest problem, being happy with it until I get it finished.
I find that having a larger goal, like an IP project, helps. We'll see

Stuff I've dug up recently
Been doing a lot of jigsaw puzzles with my gf, hopefully I won't get addicted to that, but I think it's an amazing way to train your eye to recognize shapes and colors.
And I've also been working a lot on a LEGO Technic project, yeah I love that too, ever since I was a kid. It feeds my obsession with lines and shape design. Of course, I get the same issues with finishing stuff, I get some ideas, they work great, but then something else doesn't work and it gets frustrating. I have to push forward.
