When studying anatomy I find it very useful to search the internet for diagrams of muscle origin and insertions. If you build up a knowledge of where each muscle starts and finishes, it becomes much less confusing when you study real life subjects or photos.
For example, here's some information on the sartorius muscle from Wikipedia:

You know, I used to do that for m anatomy studies but for some reason I forgot to do that. Finding the origins would be very useful.
