Welp, my fabulous streak of posting art on here frequently has come to an end obviously. Now I am posting whatever the fuck bullshit I can find on my computer to stay active. Whatever, this isn't the end of the world though. Since I am not getting any new crits, I am STILL going to work on my form studies.
Which I am not doing... cause of work and school and all that. I've got a policy with my art studies. Yes, doing my drawings are important. But my grades and education comes first, always. I can't just push everything aside to do lame cylinders that don't even come out right. If my art career doesn't launch, then at least I can say that I am smart...
I like getting photos of WW2 generals because the photos are already in black and white. No editing needed!
(Art): Painting. Is. Hard. I dunno how you guys do it. At this point, I'm trying to learn how to make things not look ugly for once. The entire image looks muddy in general. I hope I could master the art of digital painting soon...
*notices there is no more art on my computer*
(Art): WOah look, hands!!... Ain't that cool?
My Dream Art Job
Cartoon Network.
I hope there is no stigma for wanting to go to a place like that. I am not going to get dragged for something like this because I feel comfortable in my style of drawing, which I feel like it belongs in a studio like Cartoon Network. I've heard the workers there are passionate and nice and there are FREE FOOD DUDE (top priority)!
I am going to fight to become a storyboard artist (or can I just be a character artist? That'll be sweet), so I am still going to focus on linework. But at the same time, I am going to make my work 3-dimensional by studying 3D models and roman sculptures.
