It seems your sphere didn't catch some of that reflective light from the surface its sitting on. And the cast shadow don't seem to be consistent with where the light source is located..
I suggest you do another sphere study. Given the links, it's probably better for you to work it out on your own first now you have some additional information on them. I'm also currently working out on my spheres that I don't think I'm in a good position to hand out a well thought out critique on this subject.

Thanks John!!! Lets pass over this studies together so! You are so right about the bounced light of the surface, I totally miss it, but about the cast shadow I think that is ok... I know that the cast shadow is the projection of the terminator... but I will check on other references and study the links that you recommended! Thanks for the criticizes John!!! =D
