Hi.
It seems the lighting is everywhere. It's hard to tell where the sources are or how many are there in that particular piece.
Suggestions:
1. If you think the light setup is too overwhelming, scale the amount back to just one primary light source. If you haven't come across this, there's a head lighting reference in Art of Wei's youtube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kA7mFUWlZjU) I refer to that when I do paintings so the light will be more or less consistent.
2. Here's a guide to planes of the head
Try googling, 'Asaro head'!
3. If that's complicated, scale back again and try to render a sphere! Check this one out: http://www.dorian-iten.com/shading-mistakes/
(Better yet, check everything Dorian Iten has to offer!)
