Some ideas on pushing slightly past that advice to use straights, curves, and s's. A just slightly more complex line has a lot more ability to create a more interesting design. This is probably quite obvious to people who do a lot of clean line work, but my goal has always been painting.
And some sword-lady sketches. There's a friendly event going on with some friends where we are going to all create sword people by Sunday.
