Well you have to accept that you make misstakes and correct them. A sign of a competent artist isn't that they preform stuff flawlessly but rather that they notice and correct their misstakes. Ideally you want to find a way to work that makes correcting your errors as easy and painless as possible. If you spend a lot of your time focusing on details, texture and small effects, it's going to hurt a lot when you have to correct and re-paint something big.
I can understand that there is a lot of personal pain involved when learning, especially if it's something you care about. Where I studied it wasn't uncommon to either see or hear of people having really bad breakdowns. If you're having issues with something, even simple stuff, you have to try different approaches to solving that problem. I personally don't have much faith in subconscious skill like when people talk about "grinding" to get better, they're pretty much just spinning their wheels until they accidentally stumble upon something that may help them.
Be smart, approach drawing and painting as problem solving. Articulate the problem, do research to see how others have solved it (this can be as much as looking at old paintings addressing the same issue) then formulate a new approach and test it. if it goes well, that means you probably have something of value. If it fails, figure out why and see if you can correct the approach and make it better.
