chubby: yea thats a habit i developed from years of digital, starting a drawing with big sweeping lines then using the transform tool to make it a manageable size, so that translated over to paper. I can beat that habit with figures pretty reliably but often i just forget when studying just a face. But yea, bad habits die hard
gouache study in umber, i tried to draw a little smaller and it payed off interestingly. also some quick sketch and imagination faces :D Spent about 3 hrs on these, tweaking them and such, gonna do some studies for that perspective thing in the mural tomorrow and try to come up with a composition
