I just watched a thing about a boy adopted by some aristocrat in the 16-1700s with Hypertrichosis, and Fur is one of my favourite films, and then I think I watch a story recapped episode about a Norwegian film with a girl born with it. Iunno, it's a rare condition that is harmless and intriguing and I needed to paint it. Fur only took a couple of bus/train trips across two days, it was the water, branches and seashell that took a lot more time. I don't think I'll colour this one.

I do like your more muted color schemes and have said in the past your pieces that fall into that category remind me of an old scientific journal etc. It's actually quite cool and helps your work stand out in the crowd.
I like your new Venus image — reminds me of an old GF of mine. : ) Looking forward to seeing your progress with it
