Hey schnee, interesting to see someone using the traditional stuff around here. That stuff is too messy for me!
I just wanted to say that one of the best things to do w/ Blender is sit down and go through a course. There used to be a course called 'Blender Essentials' or something like that. The version I watched was from years ago. But it gave me a basic understanding of each part of the program. From there I could fill in gaps with random youtube videos. That worked pretty well for me, so maybe you could try something similar.
There's also the famous donut tutorials, which I think got a recent remake for Blender 4.0. Anyway, it's a worthy time investment IMO.
