Critiques on piece

Something about this piece I did feels little off. Tips and suggestions please on how I can improve!! :)

Perhaps it's the eye placement or the inside of the mouth? As the inside of the mouth is brown? I don't know if it was meant to be like that. For ways to improve I'd say study bones of a dog or wolf as this seems to be similar to the creature you've made. Maybe get some shading? But that's me personally so don't take anything I say legitimately. 

But otherwise I really like this piece of work!! <3
