Haha yes it is hard when professional artists made it seem effortless, that sketchy, but still refinded style. I'd say one of those styles is Yoshinaka Amano. His looks meticulously tight, but gracefully loose.

Love the origami, would be super cool for a colour study. The colours are still monochromatic, so you'd still be focusing on values, but on tones of one colour. In fact, I'll love to try it myself.
