So it's still 2025 here in the desert for at least 4 or 5 more hours. So I'm managing to get my sketchbook updated one more time before we rip into 2026!!

This one is based on an old sketch I drew long ago but reworked a LOT!
Did the original sketch this one is based on for my niece's kids. Just a silly cartoony thang.
Was commissioned by a pool electrical company to do some advertising flyers for them. They were well received and they asked me to do their Holiday flyer too.
Here are the first two flyers I did for them. The cartoon guy is clip art they've been using for YEARS on their business card - I scanned it and cleaned it up and added the body etc.
Just me having fun with a cartoony character once again (She reminds me of a neighbor lady I had when I was a kid)
I was still focusing on anatomy when I did Turtle-Head based on a old sketch.
A look at some of my process on that one
Occasionally still sketch a bit but not as much as I'd like to anymore.
Here's some Blender sculpts - using a pen tool snapping to the sculpt - Just me experimenting around and super loose and sketchy - but kinda a cool tool I should do some more with
