Honestly, dude, as far as concept art goes, I think you've got it down quite nicely. The composition works fine, the colors blend in beautifully, and the contrast between the warm and cool colors makes it very pleasing to the eyes.
I love the bleak, cold, and desolate atmosphere the blue gives the whole thing. If anything, I would say make the blue around the skull a bit more saturated, that way, it'll stand out more.
