I really do need to slow down (you're not the first to tell me. )
So, while I didn't have much time to draw today, I kept telling myself "SLOW DOWN"
and I'll keep doing it until it becomes habit ^_-
I tried to experiment with form before seeing your post,
but thanks for the link! I think those pictures will be useful (and I might get the video on putting shapes together too!).
Next time I'll try to apply what I learn from the pictures... though I really need to look into perspective to do that succesfully I think...
But, now I really get why it's important to draw from life (I always just assumed and figured it was important for colour... but..now I'm this much closer to fully getting it :D)
Anyway, I was able to squeeze in a little drawing between studying... didn't even have time for lunch/breakfast T_T
tried to experiment with form, but definitely need to read up on it/find more examples/actually study *gulp* perspective...
but here it is:
