Too Stubborn To Stop

That's exactly what I was planning to do next time I do my studies!

Because, without those lines my manikins become like wobbly old people.

Though I do have some trouble with the balance lines that don't make a 90° angle with the floor...
But in those cases, I'll try to pay attention and make sure the weight is evenly distributed.


Not sure if this falls under form, but here we go:

Trying to draw an Apple from life, focusing on form. I think each drawing lasted about 7 to 10 minutes. The last one is around 20 minutes. :/










Saw something like this in my drawing essentials book, so I thought I'd give it a try.

It's quite a challenge trying to find where the apple gets uneven and such.

And, I definitely would have to work on this more, obviously.
As this is just one apple, but you can't really tell that from the drawings.

Then I tried to do some shading, but that failed terribly.


So, I guess I'll continue to draw apples until I get it right, because eventually want to paint one. :)
And then I'll slowly add different types of fruit until I can draw/paint a fruit bowl :D
