A couple of quick shoulder/arm studies, the left were done from the reference photo, the right were my attempts from memory. I haven't tried this approach to studying before (although I have no idea why as it's a great method to use), and it's helped a great deal especially in pointing out errors.

I had intended to do 3 or 4 more similar studies from different angles, but my room was invaded by my 4 year old nephew who wanted to paint something......thought I'd upload that too, lol. Modern art maybe?

I'm going to try and do some painting from life later. I cleared a bit of space so I could set up some objects a few weeks ago, but haven't got round to doing anything yet.
