The main thing I see when I look at this is it doesn't look finished for something posted in the finished section. I think the main reason that is is due to the horses head and the rider + his face lacking refinement and detail, as they are the main focal point and closest to the viewer. If you squint your eyes the value range is very similar throughout the image apart from the white of the horse, constructing your value range and controlling it more could also make the image pop and more interesting.
