I'd have no idea where to start when it comes to comics, even if I'd love to do that. It's an awesome way to improve, and have fun while doing it, and share your ideas. I guess I should start looking it up. 
The great thing about comics is that it doesn't need to look pro to get attention and support. I mean, just look at xkcd.com.
That being said, I'd say you're really close to pro. Great work so far.
