All right. I'm happy to not go easy on you, mwa hahaha.
Anyway.. These are good if you wanna doodle and not to improve fundamentally.
But, if you really want to draw anime well, or anything well, you need to study the fundamentals. That's always key.
If you love drawing enough, and you want to make this your life, then that's what you need to do, simple as that.
Just start simple. Draw things in your environment. Draw yourself in the mirror. Draw your hands, draw your feet, draw your family and friends. Observe light, observe form and shape. Look at artists like Boris Vallejo, Julie Bell, Frank Frazetta. Look at master paintings, and study what's being done, and how these masterful works are being created.
There's nothing wrong with drawing from anime artists. Many of us started that way, and that's what got us into drawing in the first place. But, if you want to improve and get good at drawing, you need to do what these anime artists did. And they learned the fundamentals first.
If you want good sites to learn the fundamentals, there's:
https://www.youtube.com/user/ProkoTV
http://www.ctrlpaint.com/library/
http://www.alexhays.com/loomis/
And once you really get into this stuff, I'd recommend George Bridgman as an author, to learn how to break down the figure.
Keep up the good work, keep moving forward, and draw every single day. You will see rapid success, as long as you draw everyday, and follow other artist's advice, and try to learn from everything you see.
