A landscape frozen in Ice Age climate. Weather is storm-less, but the world was very frequently disturbed by frequent earth quake and ice volcano eruptions that broke and shuffled the landmarks about, and exposing the sea underneath briefly before the opening re-freeze over. Plant life here resemble inanimate objects with protective layer hiding edible parts within from the tectonic violence and extreme cold. Most life here live in the vast sub-ice ocean. Some stayed forever in The Deeps, while some lived closer to surface and the thin or broken windows of the vast ice. Some life lived above ground and feed on the hard to crack plant life, or the creatures that lived near where ocean is close to air. Permanent and grand buildings are prevented by the frequent and violent earthquake and volcanoes. Sentient life here adopted their culture to not only acknowledge and cooperate with the world's motion, but perhaps to even ride that wild, buckling motion successfully, transporting their civilization across the broken, shifting ice continents.
