If you're looking for good artists to study, I'd recommend hitting up pinterest and looking up a lot of the painting work you like on there and start creating boards for yourself to be inspired by. You'll find inspiration in the weirdest places for your work, and people will seek you out just for that little niche thing you do that no one else out there really does.
