This is actually a part of a series I'm going to be doing in which I tell a story with a series of paintings accompanied by small excerpts, so the story will be told in the excerpt. But, now that you mention it, I agree that there should be at least some semblance of the story present in the painting ... I guess it's up to me to figure that one out, hahah.
