Sagittarius-A-star: Thanks! Improvement is going slow sometimes, but it's going!
Hear ya about the shading! Most of those are done rather messy like on-the-go in a small sketchbook and thus they can become more scribbly than I'd like. I do however prefer a more meaty scribbly shading style over a smooth gradient one. Always room for improvement in shading area tho, so thanks for bringing it up ;D
Been away from my dear tablet for such a long time now. Like, a month. Was busy celebrating christmas, getting sick and also mugged by 4 guys with knives and stick batons. Not a great time. Glad to be here free from disease and stab wounds and drawing more again :) Got an Arseload of WIPs that need some serious finishing.
I dared to make a watercolor study based on a piece by one of my favorite artists. The King of Chunky Style, Ruan jia. Turned out better than I thought it would, tricky to get the colors right. The drawing is off too, only did the one try cause I didn't want to make the fine paper I had all graphite polluted by erasing and drawing again. More o' them scribbles!
