I literally drew simple shapes in space using a rough 1/2/3-point perspective grid haha
<thoughtspewage> When trying to master a craft, it's no secret you've gotta put in hours and hours and hours toward hardwork and figuring things out. One of the hardest things about being a self-taught artist... is the figuring things out part. Being independent. In my opinion, it's the factor responsible for making the journey longer than it should be, for building all the walls we have to break down in order to grow and make them art gains. When we're directionless in what to study/how to study, we may procrastinate or form art block, etc.
Now, I'm not gonna lie, the Unknown is a scary thing, it creates that uneasy feeling in our tummies that we want to get rid of... but the only way to get rid of it - is to dive right into the hairiness and befriend it - and when it throws punches and kicks, the only thing we can do is be ready for it, accept it, and get right back in there to pursue it's unstable friendship.
When someone <from a book/YouTube vid/irl/etc> tells you to study a certain way or do a certain thing - they're sharing something that worked for them. But honestly, we're all wired differently <3
Find what works for you!
Try to actively seek and befriend that nasty bastard hiding out somewhere in your body! Make those uneasy feelings that he simply radiates something you look forward to!
Aaaaaaaaaaah don't mind me lmao </thoughtspewage>
