Tygerson/Eristhe: I think the main deal is appreciating the forms as best as you can; accuracy and being good in general just purely comes down to how you understand and depict form. The more accurate your hand and eye are the better. I mean just imagine how good you'd be if you could copy something one for one and then go on to improve it from there in a small amount of time.
Im skeptical more and more of like, training a lot from odd/random angles of things; or like what would be a faster more effective practice, since its tougher training from those angles but you get a better feel for perspective. But in a longer copy of like a 3/4 angle i really appreciate the forms more and go on to see problems easier in mine and others work because its a more common angle.
Here are some eyes today from jeff, lots of fun when you can sharpen the pencils with an xacto knife. He was talking alot about the concept of calligraphy and how the people you study from will influence the very lines you put down. I can only fantasize how far along i'd be had i found this stuff earlier, it's just so much clearer of what needs to be done. Like that RPG experience point thing i'd fantasized about, this is as close as i've seen anyone get to it
