I like to draw, but it's hard

Quote:Yeah a big part of my anxiety is knowing how to finish any drawing I start, and also just "getting" what I should do to get better.

When I started out working in comics in the indie circuit, I had the same feeling of not knowing how to finish a page. That no matter how much time I spend on it, it would always look unfinished. I was lucky to have support. What we did was, we kept sending each other pegs of how we want the pages to look like, (I remember we wanted it to look like Jinx. Western, super angular lines, with a lot of spot blacks. Put a bit of my "flair" into it.) and just try to stick to the landing.

Maybe it's a good idea to visualize ahead how you want it to look like. Try to emulate how this artist you chose finished her piece. Sometimes when you're in a rut, it's helpful to look how others process their work.

Let me know what you think!

If you are reading this, I most likely just gave you a crappy crit! What I'm basically trying to say is, don't give up!
