Yeah man, these faces are already looking better and it hasn't even been an entire page.
I totally feel you on trying to escape that blocky, leftover feeling when it comes to faces. In the past I've tried using a similar method of facial construction and it always seemed like those hard shapes would find their way through, messing up the organics. I see what you're talking about, that blockiness in your stuff, however it's not so bad in your case. If you keep doing what you're doing, your stuff will naturally get softer on their own. :]
